He DID take the initiative to FUND the internet.
The original inventor of the internet from the 60's gave Gore full credit. Gore knows a lot more about the formulation of the internet. Do you honestly think he would say he invented it? He was back in high school. I think Gore (the brain) is a lot smarter than you give him credit for. He was masterful in the last debate and took down Bush on every single point. He was stunning in the end. A great performance from a man who means it.
