PT, Roller blades are fine for short distances, but the commute from the suburbs to downtown Houston, is from 15 to 20 miles. I want to watch you do that on roller blades.
There is no way you can stay away from using chemicals, and Bush had nothing to do with it. They are in our clothes, food, medicines, and just about anything we use today. Do you remember the old GE slogan? "Better things for better living through chemistry." Bush wasn't even born yet, when that came out, so you can't blame him for chemicals.
Bush has always been against pollution, and he never wasted millions of gallons of water just to float his canoe. I do recycle, and all of my Republican friends recycle. That is not a party issue, and you are a fool to try to make it one. It is a personal decision, and more people should opt to recycle.
There are a lot of factories, and mills in peoples back yards around here. Those that can afford it, like Bush and thousands of others in Texas, move as far away from it as they can, but they had no say so in the zoning. They just found a way to leave the area. That is why I do not, and will not, live in the urban area of any large city, and don't go anywhere inside the loop unless it is absolutely necessary. And FYI, the plants are not just in the minority areas, so the are not being picked on because they are minorities.
Bush has never said anything about anyone going without a coat, or wearing any particular kind. As for me, it would take a nuclear winter for me to get cold, and the ones most likely to cause that are the Democrats. ~H~ |
