Harry, you trust filings, you trust news (much of the time, but not always), and you trust your own DD.
As SSP and I have said, many times, this thread is whatever the posters here make it, but the basic theme remains the LIST and the Shell List, and stocks with impact dates in news or filings.
We all get carried away during the day, momo's whatever, but if anyone buys based solely on what they have read here, or solely because someone here bought, or because someone gave them a "hot tip", or supposed "inside info".... then they have only themselves to blame should they lose money.
I'm down on a bunch of stocks right now, mainly because I rushed into them, either because I listened to someone else without doing the DD, or because I chased something that was already running. No one to blame but myself.
The only BB's I really feel comfortable holding long, are the penny shells, because as soon as I buy them, I write those $$ off in my head, same as I do a lottery ticket. If they come in, I can win big, if they don't, well I don't expect to win on lotto tickets either. |
