Larry:

ORCL is one of those "tuck away" stocks for me. As Mike would say "so, there is a secret portfolio" In that port the bride and I hold ORCL, MSFT, LU, CAT, CSCO, DELL etc. Agreed they are all down and in downtrends, however, these are the stocks that my trading money buys more of each month. Most all pay div's and not one of them is going out of business in my lifetime. These are the stocks that will put my grandchildern through college.

Now, since you have gone to the dark side a little...take a look at SNAP. This one, in time, will be a buy to cover at 0 with no tax bite. They have 36MM in cash and burning 5 million + per Q with reduced revenue and incresed losses. Their only source of income is grants and investments in "maketable securities" We know what that will mean for the next Q. with the market in its present state. Anyway, read a little bit of the June 00 10Q and you will see what I mean...The stock is shortable and there are shares available...I shorted this morning.
