pz, Yes environemental enforcement will increase under a Gore Administration. That has potential implications for the power industry too.... Sat next to a three-star Marine General today and discussed the status of the military for about an hour. Boy has the Clinton-Gore team let the military go from hell into the hand basket for the last eight years with perhaps the exception of the land- borne Marine functions. Ten years after Desert Storm IMO we are not in shape to fight again in the Middle East... Keep your fingers crossed that things don't blow up there.... By the way, the intelligence lapse that allowed the U.S.S. Cole incident to occur actually arose in the Carter Admininstration when Stansfield Turner was Director of the CIA and made what many believe were some really bonehead organizational moves from which our intelligence efforts still have not recovered....
