Gang!

Not only am I finally on the Internet, but I'm using a cable modem and a mouse that works. I don't have the time to read the thread's messages for the last two weeks, but I did read the stuff from the last few days.

Jerry, congratulations on the wedding pictures. I don't have the time to look at them but it's great seeing everyone's reactions to them.

Bruce, thanks for the write-up of the i2 conference call. Do you have a concern about the relatively small operating margins? Seeing the comment about "leapfrogging ERP," I'm reminded that the reason I didn't invest in SCM a long time ago is because I feared the category would be subsumed by ERP. You are kind not to remind me of that highly flawed thinking.

Dr. Id, the day I need a job playing an organ it'll have a bunch of black and white keys. :)

Tekboy, a lot of people in the thread had angst this past Spring about the declining values of their stocks during the previous few months. I hope they took note of the tremendous gains your stocks have had in the previous 60 weeks. While still a very, very short term, it does add perspective.

To all, I continue to put almost everything coming from Korea and China about CDMA in the category of Rule #10. (Not to be unkind, but if you don't know the rule by memory, look it up.) I continue to expect much vascillation of Q's stock price in reaction to the public press releases and related media information (and disinformation) coming from those two countries in the coming years. Focus on the long-term fundamentals of GGaming criteria and remember Rule #10.

Several things I've learned while travelling through New Zealand:

Ostrich cooked rare is fabulous. Venison in raspberry sauce is also terrific. A passionfruit tart tastes amazingly similar to Key lime pie.

Staying in a Wellington downtown hotel suite with two bedrooms, a living room, dining room, and full kitchen for a cost of only $65 is a good deal.

Cattle like to be photographed. Sheep don't.

Glow worms live only four days after they leave the coccoon because they have no mouths and can't eat.

New Zealand Telecom (an expected provider of 3G CDMA) is having a ball playing with the rule of the country's spectrum auctions that says any bid can be withdrawn at any time without penalty.

As my wife and I travel the South Pacific, we're reminded that none of this would be possible without the results of Gorilla Gaming and participating in this wonderful thread.

Until the next time I'm able to get online ...

P. S. Bruce is for real. He told me so. :)
