Jay, I'm still holding on to Netscape, but cut back at $65, with a buy target (which it may not reach) at 45. The reasons I cut back are the sticky bond market and the severe correction occuring in technology.

On all fronts, Netscape's marketing is first class, and the company has Wall Street's constant attention. The more noise Microsoft makes about the Internet, the more attention Netscape gets.

I don't think many investors are aware of LDAP. Intranet software buyers and software industry players certainly are, and, to me, that's all that counts.

Soundview has first-class technology research. This latest endorsement is a real plus.
