Product Distributor for Northern Latin

CARROLLTON, Texas, Oct. 17 /PRNewswire/ -- CellStar Corporation
(Nasdaq: CLST), a global value-added wireless logistics services leader, today
announced it has signed an agreement to provide distribution and fulfillment
services of wireless phones for Samsung Telecommunications in northern Latin
America and the Caribbean.

CellStar will provide Samsung customers with complete end-user fulfillment
services. AOS(SM) and netXtreme(SM), CellStar's proprietary Internet-based
systems for order entry, order tracking, product shipment and information
exchange will provide highly efficient, seamless product and order status
information to Samsung and other CellStar customers. Samsung's line of
CDMA wireless handsets includes Internet-enabled and voice-activated dialing
models. Future products may include Samsung's watch-phone and television
phone.
