For the past two years, the C$ has appreciated almost in lock step with the US$. Even if your extreme theory is true, the C$ has benefited also.

Currency issues have not been an issue. If you want to talk about valuation discrepancies between Canada and the US, then fine, I think that there's an argument there, just like the same argument could be applied to Australian O&G vs Canada or the US.
