I think most people would agree with you. What happens is that the few groups who get offended by these things are the ones who make a lot of noise about it, and thus it becomes a big deal. Although why corporations feel that have to cater to them is beyond me.

My recent favorite PC episode was that some people did not want some of the actors from "The Sopranos" to march in the New York City Columbus Day Parade, because of the whole "demeaning to Italians" bit. Hello? THEY'RE ACTORS, and THEY'RE ALSO ITALIAN. They're not allowed to march, because of a ROLE THEY PLAY? Give me a break.

P.S. I am Italian.

OK, enough of that. Isn't today TRIPLE WITCHING DAY?
