Bambs, try Microsoft AND Sun AND Emc AND Ariba AND Brcm and Nokia...to get a truer picture of the health of tech/tech earnings

Your continue focus on one small part of this entire internet thing is extremely myoptic (kindof like the market)...guess what? PCs can slow down, but server sales can remain as strong as ever (Sun, "Our business has never been better; we are seeing absolutely no slowdown")....DSL deployment may delay for some companies, but storage is raging ("No end in sight", CEO EMC)...Chip sales for PCs can slow for a quarter or two, but chip sales for communication can rip for a long, long time..

Yes, tech built around the PC has slowed; But most of other tech has not...and even PC's look to be improving (off of a base of really low expectations)

Along with a slowdown in some sectors, there has been a transition in leadership in tech...that has effected "old line" tech companies valuations as well (as of late)..Throw in some tax loss selling, and a Middleast crisis or two....and it has looked like a nasty bear...

However, the components of that argument are breaking apart before our eyes....
