Gentlemen,

My name is Philp Reinstein. I have recently done all my homework on Qualcomm and am confident in its inevitable success. The juggernaut should really start to roll when the September profits are out. This will reflect Qualcomms first earning on its CDMA business. Last year's 600 million revenues did not contain a penny from CDMA profits.
But now they have started to ship hardware in a big way.

I was concerned about the criticism of the technology until they made the deal with Sony (not a fly by night co.). I was sure Sony had checked it out thoroughly. Sony has the resources to do that. I was also impressed that Sony took a 49% position to Q's 51%. If a giant like Sony has to come hat in hand to do business with Qualcomm, it is a reassuring sign of which way the wind is blowing. But I didn't BUY then.

I was also encouraged by all the licensees of the CDMA technology which reads like a who's who of all the players. See Q's 10K at its home page. But I didn't BUY then.

I also like the business Q is in. Wiring the planet is a job that has legs. But I didn't buy then.

I also like the patent that Q has for CDMA. What other co. has a patent for something with the massive potential for profit of CDMA? But I didn't buy then.

But when Sprint, TCI, and the other cable boys put down five hundred million dollars and Airtouch and three baby bells put down another 350 million, shipment to begin immediately, - well what more is there to say. My father told me watch the money not the talk.

Any one who has reservations about Q anymore is, in my humble opinion, out to lunch.

Shazam, Philip Reinstein
