I only had a few channels to choose from

At least it didn't appear in local channels. Something must be wrong in the cable.

Usually, a change in gov't happens by a violent act such as a revolution or overthrow.

What do you expect ? Talking about the legacy of Brits, they sold opium to China in the first place, and War broke out because the Chinese gov didn't like them doing drugs in their place.

And when you said you had a negative impression on HK before you left, I tell you that I don't have to go to Britain in order to have a negative impression from there. THE PLACE IS SO HAUNTED BY REAL GHOST STORIES AND TORTURES OF HUMAN BEINGS IN THE PAST. I dare not go there!!!

One thing so many Brits and westerners still love HK when they live there because the harbor is beautiful, especially when you view it from hill top. You cannot find any other city with similar view in the world. And of course, the people are nice.

As I recall, it was the German's attack on Poland that initiated the entrance of France and England in the war.

The German wanted to kill certain people, because they blamed them on the decay of their economy.
