Art,
There is no way that any media card that works as you described is going to sell well on this planet. IMHO

Who is going to want their CREDIT CARD number running around on every MP3 file he has in his collection? What if he changes credit card companies? Does he have to buy all his music all over again? Now not only do you have to worry about someone stealing your credit card, but your MP3 files with embedded credit card number as well. Who wants to bother with all this secure garbage?

Your dreaming if you think people will pay to put up with this kind of nonsense. I would rather just buy CD's and do what I damn well please. People want to be able to play music on their home stereo, car, portable player, loan them to friends etc. What if you buy a new player, computer, stereo, portable player? Do you have to get authorization for every single song you own to copy to another format. Oh yeh I just cant wait to buy into all this hassle. Where do I send my money?

Let's hope this is NOT how it works! Just think, it would change the whole meaning of the phrase, "I bought such and such for just a song."

Hey, that's just one man's opinion. What do I know?
