44, thank you for resurrecting my wonderful borg post. Considering what has transpired since the time of that post to anyone following sgi the meaning of the post is quite clear.

Sgi had a project called borg that involved Linux and a long standing reference to msft is the borg in the linux technical community. Sgi also had the project to sell sgi flavored msft software/systems. So that means that at the time.

As at the time I thought that sgi's plans to go into nt were stupid I posted in kind. Also I've worked in the past on torpedoes and other navy ASW systems and a few of the other posters on this thread are ex navy.
