But in the end Bambs, due to his trading style, will always flip flop around dependent upon sentiment whereas most of us will sit and watch and wait. The final point - I'm not sure why bambs uses economic data as it has little use in his day-trading... he quotes the data often but it actually has more importance to the long term traders than it does the day-traders.

I flip flop because I have to, to make money. The trend and I are very good friends. The reason I look at data that is a concern for long term traders is because I always look for swing trades and long term trades that I feel are very safe. I felt very comfortable with a overnight short on IBM. I would love to have the confidence and the belief to buy stocks like csco and make money when the market rallies like today. I just choose to scalp and play safe. For many scalping stocks is viewed as risky. The thing is if you can do it is very profitable.
