Well A.H. I can't find anything to celebrate about this latest SJD development. Let's see, they are picking up another prospect next to the one that they have mishandled for over three years and although, they will be operators with a majority position, they will have two partners and a 7.5% net smelter royalty over their heads if they find a deposit that they need to sell to a major.

Yes, they have cash but that can be frittered away and with millions in the kitty why did they try to do a financing this summer that so enraged so many they had to back off and cancel it? You have to have cash and management which is why if I had any money now I would socking it into Franco Nevada who have a billion in cash and sharp management with low production costs, no hedging and juicy oil and gold production royalties to boot. As far as the more junior plays go I would be sticking with proven performers like the Hunter Dickinson Group who are consummate professionals, whereas SJD have no track record but got into the game during a bull market when money was being thrown at anyone who had a property and a story.

I don't own Crew and don't follow them closely but I do look on them favourably. I believe they are continuing to consolidate and improve their position as a multiple producer in Africa. You will have to do your D.D.

Regards, Ogi
