It was obvious to my children that someone had painted the sky. That Santa was real. That there existed a birthday fairy. That flowers were sentient. That there was an evil spirit living in the chandelier over the dining room table. Many things are obvious to children that are not true, and which can be proved not to be true. It doesn't mean they might not be right once and a while- but what children think is of absolutely NO evidentiary value. The fact that you would think it has any value is evidence of your lack of reason.
