ConSyGen adds Hewlett-Packard environments to its Year 2000 toolset

PHOENIX--(BUSINESS WIRE)--May 13, 1997--ConSyGen Inc. (Nasdaq:BB - news) announced today that it has modified its fully automated ConSyGen 2000 (patent pending) toolset to include Year 2000 conversions for Hewlett-Packard environments.

Ron Bishop, ConSyGen's president and CEO stated, ``After ConSyGen received a contract from Millenium Enterprise Inc. this past January to make over one million lines of COBOL source code compliant for the Year 2000, we had to first modify our ConSyGen 2000 to handle the Hewlett-Packard environment.'' Bishop continued,``These modifications are now completed. We are now proceeding with the conversion of the Millenium Enterprises code and expect to have it completed within the next two weeks.''

ConSyGen Inc. is a Phoenix-based software company that provides conversion/correction services with its proprietary technologies. The company's ConSyGen 2000 software is a fully-automated toolset that can automatically correct dates in both source code and data to be compliant for the Year 2000 and beyond. The company's ConSyGen Conversion toolset can automatically convert software to run a different hardware platform....For example, software running on older Bull or IBM mainframes can automatically be converted to run on the new Client/Servers (often called downsizing).
