For some reason Nokia makes all the QCOM'ers feel extremely--no, pathologically--insecure. They project their own worst fears onto Nokia and then feel an impulse to sacrifice it in order to right the social order. Why they focus on Nokia so much is a wonder to me (I think the name itself rather bland and my associations of the company do not inspire me to feel murderous)--its seems almost as though they are moths drawn to the light, or perhaps deer to headlights. Perhaps its a latent form of xenophobia. (Finns are not to be trusted.) Or schizophrenia. (They might perhaps feel that Nokia is controlling their brainwaves through mobile phones.) Or some sort of mass hysteria. (Nokia is the Devil!) They could instead have chosen Motorola as the object of their fixation, a once great company with wireless operations now in pathetic decline, but no. When they rush over to this thread all at once to spit their venom, their behavior reminds me of the small furry creatures known to leap off Norwegian cliffs en masse to their deaths.
