You put us in the unenviable position of having to believe either you or AMD. It was widely reported on the AMD thread that AMD's VP stated there were no architectural changes other than cache. I didn't hear it myself. I'll remain skeptical.

I think it was just the normal process shrink that happens as a process matures. I expect they have a number of variations running for different products. Process is not really my field.
