First of all the point is that neither the post nor certainly the poster are vacuous... he posts seldom, but is, IMO, one of the best posters on SI period. Bookmark and read is my suggestion to anyone interested in wireless.

There isn't ANY of the posters you sight that thinks G* isn't in a totally different class than Iridium... technology, service, and business plan. That said, it's obviously risky... sorry I didn't point that out... I assumed that 27 cents on the dollar would pretty much explain it.

All these guys argue all the time, that's the point, the poster is one of the few people who knows enough to argue intelligently with the others.
