It's interesting to note that much of what was in the conference call was discussed here!
One point was particularly interesting, though: "Only EMC presently provides a complete end-to-end solution for storage, from high end to low end."
I was unaware of this, and it is something that was re-emphasized in the Q & A session at the end of your report as well. This is not well advertised in, at least, their website or newsletters. It seems that this is an important distinction, and helps to secure EMC's lead in storage.
Also, that there was "Little or no mention of Network Appliance" is something I've noticed, anecdotally, in my conversations with a neighbor, a member of EMC sales. He does not perceive NTAP as significant competition, which, to be honest, kinda blows me away.
