greg, that's why I was asking if price/sales was 19. I agree that P/E is not a good number to look at right now (unless you can accurately predict the # 5 years out).

However, the P/S # is quite relevant. ANY company trading on the market MUST be valued somehow. Hence at some point some number becomes "right" to a set of people and "wrong" to another set.

Of course most of the volume on the market are traders who are looking only at their trading numbers rather than company numbers, but still the range and base level is established by investors that are looking at some company multiples.

Hence my question. Is a P/S of 19 reasonable for PALM?
