ISPEC SITE UPDATE: DOS ATTACKS...

WE HAVE NOW BEEN TOLD, AFTER THE PROGRAMMERS AND TECHNICIANS STAYED ON ALL DAY, THAT THERE WAS A SPIKE IN REQUESTS MADE OVER THE PAST FEW DAYS ALL AT THE SAME TIME, WHICH WE ALL KNOW, BECAUSE THAT'S WHEN THE SITE SLOWS TO A CRAWL.

APPARENTLY, SOMEONE IS MAKING DENIAL OF SERVICE ATTACKS ON US, AND THAT MAKES SENSE, BECAUSE PRIOR TO THESE ATTACKS, THE "BOAT ANCHOR" SERVER WAS HOLDING UP WELL, WITH THE SAME AMOUNT OF TRAFFIC...SO THE PLOT THICKENS.
