my hand's showing ... I've left my core (IRA) holding of AMAT untouched - up last spring, down this fall. I know you feel my pain. <g> However, I made a fast (cheap) raid on OCT calls ... yesterday. Out today for +60%. I rolled that over into out-of-money NOV puts as protection against a fallback. Back when AMAT was really cheap (like where it is now a few weeks ago ... <g>, I grabbed some LEAPS as well. - Mitch
