Bombardier to Supply Snow Grooming Vehicles for Salt Lake
Olympic Winter Games of 2002

GRANBY, QUEBEC, CANADA--OCTOBER 19, 2000 - 14:09 EDT
Today the Salt Lake Organizing Committee
for the Olympic Winter Games of 2002 (SLOC) announced that
Bombardier Recreational Products, North America's leading
manufacturer of snow grooming equipment, has been named the
Official Supplier of snow grooming equipment to the Salt Lake
Organizing Committee for the Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games
of 2002.

Bombardier will supply snow grooming vehicles and attachments for
Alpine, Downhill, Snowboard, Biathlon, and Nordic Jumping at the
Deer Valley, Park City Mountain Resort, Snowbasin, Soldier Hollow
and the Utah Olympic Park venues.

"The athletes of the world will have spectacular venues in which
to compete and with Bombardier's equipment and expertise, the
conditions in Salt Lake will provide an unparalleled Olympic
experience for both athletes and spectators," said Mitt Romney,
President and CEO of SLOC. "We are excited to have Bombardier
join our team to enhance the outstanding qualities of our
breathtaking mountain courses."

Pierre L. Charron, Vice President General Manager of Utility
Vehicles for Bombardier Recreational Products mentionned: "We are
absolutely delighted to be the Official Supplier to the 2002 Games

equipment will ensure that the 2002 Olympic Games have the best
groomed snow possible."

equipment for the third time to the Olympic Winter Games.
