I've never in my life seen such a lukewarm reception to an announcement of tripled earnings. Perhaps the best explanation can be inferred from Eli's comments at the conference call, to the effect that the differences between the kind of flash memory that SanDisk makes and that made by Intel, AMD, etc. are "not well understood by the investment community."
