FoxNews just has a good report from Jeff Birnbaum of Fortune which detailed that - despite the Dem's heavy reliance on fatcats and special interests - small donors have contributed so heavily to Bush that Bush has the money to outspend AlGore the Junior in the final weeks.

Of course, Birnbaum also noted the Big Labor and pushed the alarm bells and is raising extra money from unwilling union members.
