DD: I agree with your analysis. No. 1 fault of the NRA is its inability to compromise/discuss/analyze because of this stupid notion that any compromise will ultimately lead to confiscation of all guns in the U.S. The other problem I have is with idiots like MajorDumbo kkvkkc, who said he respected the bullies and hecklers of the Million Mom March more than he did the mothers who demonstrated against gun violence.
