I lived in East Point City in Hang Hau near Junk Bay in the New Territories

I know there're quite a few expensive new condos in Clear Water Bay. Do you rent or own your house ? What do you do in HK ?

We were fighting the Brits too in the 1700s

Are you a Viking ? Irish ? Spanish ? Gee, Brits have lots of enemies...even the clash between Israel and Palestine has something to do with the legacy of the Brits.

Talking about the legacy of them, the education system in HK sucks big time!! It has never been changed and the worst of it ... 1 exam decides your fate. And the fuckiest thing is that the diploma you earn may not be applied to other schools abroad, except of course in England. The Brits had dictated for a century the HK people, who had no choice to choose their own leader. The Brits just talked what they wanted making big bucks and bringing it back home retired. They always think about money ... I mean your money.

Pollution is bad

I heard London is even worse.

A ride on the Star Ferry is nice, but if water splashes your face, beware.

That's the characteristic of the Star Ferry. When water splashes on board, passengers with suits on have parties.

My dear friend who lived in China came to work in Hong Kong, but she was not allowed to bring her child or husband even for a brief visit

That's how the Brits had divided the Chinese and conquered them - one more legacy.

Sure many people are nice in Hong Kong, but not the business people. Many of them are nasty.

That's a good observation.
