After going as high as 67 5/8, AMAT retraced its steps down to 65 5/8...These lower levels are good entry points for late comers (without the help of the over-all down market, we wouldn't be seeing the stock at the low 60s). There is a 3-day Memorial weekend coming up, so there's not much activity today.

Listed in my Schwab account is 2.80 as EPS of AMAT; whereas in my Fidelity account---it is 2.02!...Considering that even CNBC's Joe Kernen and his co-anchors were rather sad of the "plight of AMAT" the day after the latest earnings report (as noticed also and posted by Ronald)---I understand the confusion of people about AMAT. People don't know much about AMAT, about its history and price patterns, and especially about its future. They are shorting the stock at a time when they should be buying!...Well, as Ronald said: the sellers exist to give way for us buyers...
