Richard.. you arent changing the US's reputation of not knowing anything about Canada They arent taking any guns away from anyone.. thye've set up a national gun registry to register the owners who have guns.. and also issuing a special license to show you have done the registering - which will then allow you to buy ammo etc. Guess what Richard.. except for those few gun collectors or rural hunters.. the law more or less has gotten widespread support in Canada... we dont have the US's gun culture.. the gun lobby up here is extremely weak and with little political support or power outside its own members.. and there is hardly anyone who thinks we are enslaved because of tough gun laws and ownerships.
