Zeev,

I wish I had an answer.

They do move prices, if only temporarily. One does need to be aware of their actions.

I tend to wait for an idiotic report that's completely out of step with the fundamentals, then, if the report has a bearish impact on the stock, I write PUTs. This has been a most satisfying activity with QLTI this year.

I could never have made anywhere near as much premium money without these turkeys spreading "disinformation".

IMO, part of the answer is understanding the role of analysts. Another part is having a reasonably solid understanding of the fundamentals for a company and its sector. I only wish I had a complete answer.

Any suggestions???

Ian.
