Also Yojimbo....but I would not argue too hard..... Kane is very good, perhaps I am over- compensating for hype, but I do not think it has the intensity to quite qualify...... I am one of the few people I know who hates Jules and Jim..... Treasure of the Sierra Madre is very good, but there are too many Bogart films that I think are better: Casablanca, The Maltese Falcon, The African Queen, to name three...... Yes, I think it (C&W) is more intense, more masterly..... Anyway, I have not really composed a top ten. I make stabs at it, but it is hard when the top 100 are so close in quality.......
