Yes, it's just that guns make killing people rather a lot easier, don't they?
Should we give people grenades? tanks? tactical nuclear weapons? If you answer "no", why not? And doesn't that same reasoning extend to lethal automatic weapons? guns in general? that is, is it really a "principle", or a matter of where you draw the line? If the latter, then you agree the 2nd amendment has limits? If so, perhaps those limits include sensible gun control?
