Well Jim, I say shoot 'em all and let God sort them out ! I hope the SEC realizes that the posting of P&D plays is only the most visible aspect of what is going on. How do these stocks get selected by any group or groups ? They sure as heck don't throw darts at a list of OTCBB stocks. The stocks they play more often than not are brought to their attention by company management, promoters, someone trying to raise capital for these companies, or someone trying to unload some stock of quantities far larger than normal trading volumes. 9 times out of 10, their motives are to add shares to the float. Company management is protected by "Safe Harbor" and therefore can say just about anything. I personally think that it should be illegal for companies IR firms to leak that "news is coming". How often have we heard that ?? lol ! The people who are told load up and sell to those that buy on the news. Yes I know this happens with NYSE and NASDAQ stocks, but typically their markets caps are far larger and the stock price doesn't move as much when there is a leak. Think how different the OTCBB world would be if "news is coming" were outlawed ! Chris
