Thanks. HTMMIS lacks that clarity, and from time to time, IBD used to use loose language about preservation of the id low, suggesting that only the close was critical for the count off the low.

So, we count from 10/18. The window for follow through confirmation opens as early as 10/23 and closes on 11/1.
