Ok . if you want the 'order fulfillment'
why are you going to pay these guys to go contract the services out.
Why are you going to hire your own programmers and pay them a billion dollars a year.
if you know what your' selling.....And you know what price you'll sell it for.
Why not contract with a Priceline or an Ebay type of operation.
Biz model.
Where you just enter your online catalog.
Why go through all of the Gymnastics.
The CEOs and Management that are making these decisions somestimes are in mobile companies that will not be around after they make their 3 million or 100 million dollars and run for the hills.
Why go through those gymnastics.
Why not do the right thing up front.
Why not do what makes you money with good margins and doesn't cost you 20 million just because you have a 20 million budget to spend. (and you get warrants from your supplier [that smells really bad])
Why do you really need all that control.
Why do you really need all those programmers and all that infrastructure. (the hardware technology will be old by the time it's implemented)
Contract the stuff out yourself.
I guess my whole thesis is that these technologies are all merging and to take the high road based on this new (better then butter) Guava Platform or some damn thing. Is just kind of silly.
If the performance and bang per buck is nickles and dimes and you've got executives selling millions a week (in paper)making these high level nickle and dime decisions.
OK. The shooting gallary is open.
