This is amazing. Because George W. Bush is proud of his work on the crime in Texas, people see it as wrong? I live in Texas, and the thing that bothers me about the whole thing is why are we compared to New York? Because of the population? Because of the number of inmates or probationers per population margins? George W. Bush has done a wonderful job in the state of Texas, and locking people up is only part of it. I agree, do the crime and do the time. But what happens when people don't learn their lesson, or new offenders commit crimes? Overlook it? I don't think we can do that. They need to be locked up. Ethnic background is always a factor when someone is trying to get out of going to jail, but I'm glad we have law enforcement that sticks to the law and puts the race issue behind. Maybe we just have more bad folks in Texas than in New York. Maybe we have hard headed people, more so than in New York. It doesn't matter what color your skin is... DON'T MESS WITH TEXAS, AND YOU WON'T GO TO JAIL!
