charles - no, it actually means that the user experience and context becomes independent of the particular device in use. This is critical, since I may want to get information on a limited-storage instant-on handheld and have that same information available on my workstation at home, or on my thin client at work, or on my grandmother's WebTV, and have that data presented in a way which is both current and appropriate to the context. In that sense, it places a much lower requirement for availability on any given end device than we have currently... which I know you will regard as a good thing <G>!
