Competition, Competition and Competition. Check out what happened to
Fore after the big guns entered their niche. Profit margins for ASND's
max line are disappearing. ASND has the TNT but it won't be long
before they face competition there too. Cascade faces competition
from Cisco and Newbridge. Recently Cisco won a huge deal in China for
their financial network with Stratacom switches. ASND probably will
do well near term depending on the product mix they sell. (i.e
what percentage MAX and what percentage TNT)
