Since I dashed off my last answer in 20 seconds while doing three other things at once, you are right that tax-loss selling was surely a factor.

But the profitable report contrasted with HLIT is nice marketing too. "We can grow this biz and not *&%$* it up quarter after quarter...."

Kinda like NT and LU.
