Yes, that would be a good thing. It sounds like there will still be a fair number of servers involved, and the distinction between that and what is done now blurs in my mind. Something said here in the last day or so suggested to me that the focus in .Net would be peer-to-peer, but now I'm thinking the "distributed" aspect stops at the ISP/ASP edge +/-. That's really not very different, IMHO, from how things are being done now.

I must admit, though, that I'm being a bit lazy -- I haven't read the materials at the MSFT site. Perhaps they would clarify things.
