From a very reliable source, one of the principals behind SHZI was the #6 guy @ MSFT and has Bill's ear. some more info, not verified: Scott Wells was the head of the NT development team for MSFT He built the ecommerce engine for bank america, fidelity national title, escrow.com. He has also worked with espirium the largest credit information service. Gates would send him out determine which operating system a customer should use.
