Hi Tony,
Although I prefer your scenario, I tend to agree with Michael.
Unless MM's know something we don't know, they would be subject to the same risks as the individual investor.
Also, if demand was overwhelming, how could they accumulate shares to begin with? Seems like as soon as they got their hands on shares, one of us investors/gamblers/risk-takers would snatch them up.
If I were HANS & FRANS, or whoever these people are, I think I'd rather see price go from a dime to a dollar to a dime on 1M volume, all the while keeping that magic 8-cent spead.
Still hoping that SOROS' make-believe press release of a couple of weeks ago comes to fruition soon, I have exhibited profound self-restraint in making no additional purchases for 4 or 5 days now. Haven't sold any, either. This one lone sailer will either complete the cruise to investor paradise, or go down with the ship. Our ship seems to have sprung a leak, but maybe Dr. Stamm and crew can get us patched and going.
Maybe our nauseating cruise on rocky waters will turn into a dream ride on a jet boat.
I think I've said "maybe"& "hope" so much that I'm getting even more nauseated.
A good holiday weekend to all, David |
