da cheif, Being a bull, of course it's interesting to read your comment. Your theoretical prediction adds some balm to some of the bulls wounds. However reading Stacks site "For this scenario to unfold in what is normally a seasonally favorable period, the market is sending the strongest of signals that more severe trouble likely lies ahead. With much of Wall Street still in denial, this is looking more and more like a protracted, traditional bear market. And in time-tested, traditional fashion... it is keeping the average investor fully invested all the way down. Your typical bull does have to be determined to stay invested (or even buy stocks) even if the market approaches zero. Not sure if da bulls generally are mentaly set up for that determined approach. Loads of 'em are on margin. Also, some of those gorillias may find themselves playing second fiddle to better competition. It does happen as I'm sure you know. Still, I am optimistic as any. rgds, pearly.
