You were on the subject of gun registration.

The supremes have already decided that failure to register an illegal gun(or a gun owned illegally) is not a crime, since the registration would be an admission of guilt -- therefore self incrimination.

Only legally owned guns must be registered. Failure to register a legally owned gun is a crime, since it is not self incrimination.

This is sure to keep guns out of the hands of people who misuse them, isn't it?

If only legal guns, legally owned must be registered, what is the purpose?
