Actually, there's something I didn't mention that actually seems to tie it together more than you would think. They are real proud of their world-class ISO9002 manufacturing facility and are trying to leverage that. (BTW, they are also making a telephone switch for some other company.) If you look at it as them trying to cut deals to be the cost-effective manufacturing vendor for other companies' products, then it doesn't seem so willy-nilly. As far as staying in the comm business at all: Zalenski said he gave this some thought during the downturn, and based on the market they see in the parts of the world where computers haven't penetrated to the extent they have here (and the figures for here seem lower than you would think), they believe there's still a lot of pie to share. Can they compete? I don't know. They had better leverage their positives to the max, though. I HAVE to be bullish though because of where I got in.
