Do you think that some company is going to trot down to the ATM store and buy out FORE because Adam Sornoff thinks it is a good company. FORE may be a good company, with good products, but unless people buy into ATM and make it an established long term standard, FORE will likely go the way of other companies specializing in less successful technologies (like some Token Ring companies. MADGF comes to mind). Someone like IBM, CSCO, or COMS could make or break FORE in a heartbeat. It ain't the facts, it's the perception that matters...
